“I am a storyteller and I want to tell you a tale…”

Me, myself and I

Sabrina Shah is a Kidlit writer, based in the UK and Singapore.

She was born and raised in Nottingham, England; amongst the legendary tales of Robin Hood, Sherwood Forest and The Major Oak.

As a creative, she followed her passion and graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Media Practice & Screenwriting before heading off to the Big Smoke (London!)

Sabrina worked for some of the big publishing houses in the UK for over ten years, before moving across the world with her husband and two children to the little red dot called Singapore.

With a passion for children’s literature, she writes picture books, adventurous middle grade and young adult novels, as well as adult romance. She is also working towards an illustration qualification.

Amongst her passion for writing, she is a colossal foodie and recipe developer. With her own blog @The.Scrumptious.Spoon, she has collaborated with many global food entrepreneurs and is focusing on releasing her own non-fiction cookbooks soon.

She also freelances and is available for IP and work-for-hire projects.
